Tigers plan for big 2010 in the Centre

Max Bennett

THE Richmond Tigers will make their first visit to Central Australia for 2010, as they enter the finals stages of establishing a permanent presence in the region.

Planned for next week, club officials and players will travel to the Red Centre for a four-day tour, including community visits, school visits and meetings with local indigenous organisations.
The team will travel to Hermannsburg to meet with junior and senior players prior to their summer football competition matches, as well as put on dinner for the players.
Still to be confirmed, the Tigers' players will meet with Clontarf students, and assist with PowerWater development squad and NT Thunder training.
The Tigers visit from Thursday February 11 to Sunday February 14.
Players are expected to be confirmed early next week.
